Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. All flat-rate services include a 1-month limited warranty covering the original repair performed. The warranty applies only to the specific issue addressed during service.
Flat-rate service means you pay one set price per device for the services listed on the service page. There are no hidden labor fees beyond that rate. Any replacement parts or additional services are quoted separately before work continues.
A device refers to one desktop or laptop computer. Each device is serviced individually under the flat-rate pricing.
Remote service allows repairs and troubleshooting to be completed securely over an internet connection without needing an on-site visit. This often reduces turnaround time and cost when the issue does not require physical hardware work.
(Make sure you trust the person before you give them access to your device.)
Hardware and replacement parts are not included in the flat-rate service. If parts are needed, you will be notified and must approve any additional cost before installation.
No. All services are provided on a one-time flat-rate basis. Subscription or monthly plans are not offered.
No. Backup services are not offered. Customers are responsible for maintaining their own data backups prior to service. In some cases, a temporary data backup may be performed when replacing a drive or if a cloning process fails; however, this is only done as part of the repair process and is not guaranteed as a standalone backup service.
Data transfer or drive cloning is included when required as part of the repair or setup process. Larger data transfers or recovery requests may involve additional charges.
Data recovery may be available depending on the condition of the drive. This service is not included in the flat rate and is quoted separately based on the scope of work.
Services are limited to Windows-based desktop and laptop computers only.
Apple devices, tablets, phones, and gaming consoles are not serviced.
If one or two people use the computer(s), it typically falls under Home & Small Business service.
If three or more people share systems or workstations, it falls under Multi-User Business service.
Yes. On-site service is available for an additional fee:
• Home & Small Business: $50
• Multi-User Business: $129
On-site service is priced higher because it requires time away from the workshop, where other customer devices are being serviced. This ensures each client receives focused, uninterrupted support. Remote service is recommended whenever possible to reduce cost and turnaround time.
